"Ayo ngopi bang " which mean "Let's grab some coffee , bro".
" Gas, tempat yang special ya mas", I ask my friend to bring me to special spot for coffee.
"Ya, mas. Pasti mas nga pernah rasa kopi jos" , my friend say that i ll never taste this kind of coffee which the local call Jos Kopi.

He bring me with his motorbike to one unfamiliar path somewhere in Yogyakarta. He say , it was a clear path along the road in the morning but in night it ll become some spot where everyone hang out with their friend until early in the morning. No wonder i didnt realize this spot in the morning.

After they boil the coffee with burning the charcoal . Then they serve the coffee with the charcoal.

You can hear , "JOSSSS" sound if you put hot charcoal with fire in the water. But , when you put those charcoal in the coffee , it also make "JOSSSS" sound but now it being called coffee joss.

And of cos , if you want to drink it you need to put the charcoal out. Well, this is something new and special. How was it taste? Its taste like strong coffee with old flavor which i like.

If one is not enough , call for another one .

ABOUT THE TRAVEL

image.png

Few years back before pandemic , Im was lucky enough to travel solo in most places in ASEAN about 2 years . It was a full of good memory and great experience to learn the different culture, language and religion . I make a lot of new friend which has become my best buddy until now.

I going back to my country in Malaysia after my travel insurances was expired . When i come back to my home town , i share my experience in photography and taking picture for my fulltime job. The pandemic hit my country hard and all the photographer has no job until now , which give me much time to write about my travel journey in travelfeed.io for my documentation.

Previously i share my story in another community , but recently i realize that i should share my story in @asean.hive community which tell more story about ASEAN people and a lot picture to be share. I also allocated a little percent of every story beneficiaries to giving back for the community.
