STREET HAIR CUT
While driving around at the small town in lembongan island , i see this barber giving a hair cut to the local outside a shop . Ermm i dont think i can consider it a shop , its look poorly rundown.
I come near and ask if he can do a haircut for me too.
He say , yes and i wait for my turn .
He is very friendly , and told me that he has been in this business for long time . He is retired and say he ll become bored if he just stay at home and nothing to do. So , he come to town and giving a haircut with minimum price for people that earn low .
According to him , if you lucky and come from a good family you ll have a decent life . But if you dont have anything , you might hungry not getting job to earn money . I think this is happening to all around the world .
I say to him out of nowhere , I think everyone can become SUPERHERO because we dont need SUPER POWER to become SUPERHERO. We just need what we do the best , and giving back to humanity like you. The hidden SUPERHERO.
He just smile and say , Old Superhero . We just laugh together.
Look at his equipment , no electricity needed to cut the hair. It was really and old-school hair cut style .
Its take about 15 minutes to do the hair cut . And i ask him how much i have to pay . He didnt say a number but say , you can pay anything .
I was curios by that and asking , What do you mean by that ?
He say , Some people dont have money to pay , so they can pay with anything they have .
So , i have some amount of money to him and i think it quite big for him , so i say that i ll help paying his 10 next customer.
He was laugh , Now you also become SUPERHERO.
It was awesome day and i really happy to meet him. You see , this solo travel in 2 years is not just come , see other people place . But to learn and live through their daily life.
ABOUT THE TRAVEL
Few years back before pandemic , Im was lucky enough to travel solo in most places in ASEAN about 2 years . It was a full of good memory and great experience to learn the different culture, language and religion . I make a lot of new friend which has become my best buddy until now.
I going back to my country in Malaysia after my travel insurances was expired . When i come back to my home town , i share my experience in photography and taking picture for my fulltime job. The pandemic hit my country hard and all the photographer has no job until now , which give me much time to write about my travel journey in travelfeed.io for my documentation.
Previously i share my story in another community , but recently i realize that i should share my story in @asean.hive community which tell more story about ASEAN people and a lot picture to be share. I also allocated a little percent of every story beneficiaries to giving back for the community.
I dont want to make excuse because i am ASEAN but I am apologize if i make a lot of mistake in English . I still learning.
