People of the is people who live on the sea like pirate . But they are not pirate. They just people has no land and has been living on their boat for long time ago.
As the world evolve , the sea people or they also known as Bajau Laut, start to migrate to the land. But , the sad thing it is no easy for people of the land accept them because some of them own the land.
But , even though they cant build house at land in Pulau Omadal , but they start building their house near the island but still on the sea.

There is no electricity and clean water . They live in poverty . Most of their house was made by waste that floating at the sea .

With this environment , the kid ll continue stay at sea . There is no proper education and since they born , grow and live on sea , they dont have any passport or identification card this country which mean they are stateless people.
Until now , the is no people come and fight for the Bajau Laut . Some may fortunate enough to escape from this problem but majority they was no people land.
I heard from the local that there was some organization come and make a school for them . But they being shut down because they dont have proper documentation. Its was sad when humanity being politicized.
HOPE FOR TOMMOROW
I hope someday , there will come someone who fight their right to become people of the land. The land is actually is enough for everyone but people too greedy and dont want to give some piece of their land to them.
While this was happening at this beautiful island , i believe there was many cases that similar to this around the world. Lets pray and home they ll be treat equal.
ABOUT THE TRAVEL
Few years back before pandemic , Im was lucky enough to travel solo in most places in ASEAN about 2 years . It was a full of good memory and great experience to learn the different culture, language and religion . I make a lot of new friend which has become my best buddy until now.
I going back to my country in Malaysia after my travel insurances was expired . When i come back to my home town , i share my experience in photography and taking picture for my fulltime job. The pandemic hit my country hard and all the photographer has no job until now , which give me much time to write about my travel journey in travelfeed.io for my documentation.
Previously i share my story in another community , but recently i realize that i should share my story in @asean.hive community which tell more story about ASEAN people and a lot picture to be share. I also allocated a little percent of every story beneficiaries to giving back for the community.
