Coffee Travel : B52 Cafe Dong Hoi

Im was in the mission to travel across Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi using train after crossing Cambodia - Vietnam border.

I still remember i finish my travel journey in Vietnam in a month. During the trip i stop at Dong Hoi which located at the between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. It was a weekend and i was expecting to enjoy but it was rainy day .

Nobody was around and even there is no car at the road. I decide to google the nearest café cause i was craving for Vietnam coffee.

Vietnam coffee has a different taste from any coffee that i drink during my trip and the secret is it condense milk. It serve very different and i believe who have taste it would agree with me.

I found a B52 Café is around the corner , i decide to walking to that café and hope it ll open.

Luckily the café is open. I didnt manage to take the front picture because of the heavy rain.

The B52 actually is bomber has been used to drop bomb in Vietnam during the war. You can see at the right picture above is the bomb shield. All the interior design of this café is related to historical Vietnam war .

I believe the war has make a huge scratch in Vietnam until now. There is a lot of historical story about the war including this café. I feel so lucky because the war is already over and i didnt have to go through that hard time. If the war is still dont over , i dont think i can enjoy the coffee as much i enjoy that day.

My coffee is coming . It is very perfect for another great taste of Vietnam coffee
