Greetings everyone, all of us loves to explore the beautiful and nice place around the Globe. Even if in the Province, there are lots of beautiful and relaxing views we can at the Province. For today's travel blog, we will go to the abandoned farm places at Sitio Pasto. The Word "Pasto" derived as a Ranch because this place was also a cow ranch back in many years. This place is also a perfect spots for doing some camping activities and there are lots of people came from far away places just to visit and do a camping activities. Before we proceed to my Main topics about exploring the Abandoned Farm, allow me to share the exact location.
Sitio Pasto's Location:
This farm is located at the middle of the mountainous places here in Barangay Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This area is quitely far from urbanized places and access Provincial road. It takes a few hours of walking adventure, and it is only a road trail for human. Thia is a kind of mountainous places and it will expected to climb and have an adventurous by walking those slope places. This Farm is also near at Obedencios Farm and some boundary point of the town.
This is the road trail located in the abandoned farm here in Sitio Pasto. The road trail contains of solid silica stones, lots of peebles and different kinds of big trees can be seen. Some of the trees found here are the Mahogany and Molave trees. There is also some Hardwood trees just like Germilina, and Karot tree and it grows near at the Road trail. Lots of manggo trees planted by the people who lived in this area many years ago. There are also young coconut trees planted at the abandoned farm and some of it are already produced lots of coconut fruits and ready to harvest for the next Month.
Most of the land on the top of this mountain were the abandoned farm located is filled with solid stones. There are small portion of the place that contains more soil and good for planting different kinds of crops and vegetables. This place was once a clean areas and many Farm raising animals like Cows and goats fed and ate grass. As many years has passing by, the place was completely filled with this trees and bushes, and it almost covered the entire place of the abandoned farm.
What's the best place here are the great views and more grass good for farm raising animals. This high and majestic mountains are the Bandera mountains and it is divided in four hills. This area is also known as the boundary point between the two Barangays, the Barangay Paniangan and Barangay Poblacion Manticao. Through here, it can be seen the great overviews of the neighboring mountains including those plain areas in the Town. There are lots of wild animals like birds, snakes, wild cats and tiny tiny insects living here.
As estimated counts of coconut trees, almost 300 coconut trees can be seen here and some of it are already produced more fruits. This kind of valuable plants is very popular because this is one of the primary source of income of the residents here in the town. There are already few houses built in the place and some of it are also abandoned. It is made of light materials just like planks, bamboos and round lumbers.
Not only valuable plants like coconuts can be found here, but also pineapple plants. Some of it are produce pineapple fruits and ready to harvest for the next following months. Almost 100 pineapple plants grows at the place and some of the fruits are already sell to the Market. This abandoned farm contains a fertile soil that is why many different kinds of plants grows here.
Near at the slope mountain were the abandoned farm located is he plain place were many coconuts were planted. This place is still cultivated and developed until today, in fact there are lots of farm raising animals like Cows, Goats and chickens. It planted perfectly lined and lots of grass for farm raising animals food. Even if Sitio Pasto was already abandoned, but still it contains lots of good sceneries and a perfect place for animal ranch. Aside of that, camping site on the mountain top is also good and enjoyable.
