Dessert is something that we take after heavy food for being easily digested. It facilitates to strengthen the stomach. There are a lot of dessert items available everywhere.
Bangladeshi people are very much used to have heavy foods. Specifically people of Dhaka & Chittagong region are fan of oily and fatty foods. It creates some problems to be digested. To ease this process, they use some dessert items after having lunch or dinner.
That's why a lot of different types desserts are popular here.
Most of the desserts are liquid, but there are some slice types aslo popular.
In most cases, people likes sweet or sweet types dessert items. Sometimes it may be sour.
Fruits are also famous as desserts in this subcontinent.
Mint Juice
Mint is a type of leaf that contains some ingredients useful for digesting. It is converted into juice by blending with bit salt, sugar, curd etc.
Among different types of desserts mentioned as above, I like mint juice very much for its sour taste and natural flavour.
Where And When
In Chittagong city, mint juice is available at different restaurants. But today, it was a launch party with some friends at AK Khan circle. The restaurant is named by Islamia Restaurant.
After taking the launch, we decided to have mint juice. We ordered. They supplied it very quickly. May be it was prepared and stored at refrigerator earlier.
About the taste
It was actually not amazing anything, as the juice was cold and we were at a winter afternoon.
It looked like green drinks as the mint was blended with green chilies. There was mixed some masala and salt. So it seemed to be tasted as the mixture of sour and spicy.
Hygiene
The restaurant was a simple local food court but it was very neat and clean. The entire design was really attractive. The hotel boys are looking very prudent and skilled.
The food was seemed average in case of taste, but we considered the concern about health issue.
It was seemed to be very healthy as the composition is suitable for health. The taste was also indicting the highest hygiene.
