Walking along the seaside of Positano, we took a snap shot of the beauty of the ocean. The sun ceaselessly shining down on the pebble sand beach, the waves relentlessly washing up the shore, and the clear blue beach stretching out infinitely on all ends.

How we wished we lived on this town, without any troubles, worries, or Mondays to stress about.

So many photo worthy spots, we were mind blown by the clarity of the waters and the sky. I've traveled to several beaches in Southeast Asia, and have seen clear blue waters, but the Mediterranean sea has a different feel to it. The sun, sky, rocks, sand is of all different type that once combined it creates a more romantic atmosphere.

As the clocked ticked noon, we saw more ferries loaded with people heading our way. Most of the restaurants were already packed, and we didn't want to head back up the hill, so we decided to sit ourselves in the best view the house offered.
We chose a restaurant smacked right in front of the sea front.

Hotel Covo Dei Saraceni

Voila, our view. Away from all the tourists, away from the sun in the shade, but with an amazing few spread out in front of us of the Mediterranean sea. This restaurant is in the second floor of the Hotel Covo Dei Saraceni, and has one of the most pristine views of the Positano beach front.

Serving a range of food and beverages, we were willing to pay a tid bit extra for the view we were able to surround ourselves in.

Before all else, first start with a bottle of local beer. Although it wasn't a Positano local, Sorrento isn't that far off. We quenched our thirst with a big gulp of cold beer, and ordered our mains.

Just like any other Italian restaurant, we were served with bread as an appetizer. I must say, the bread was mediocre, but the olive oil was stupendously aromatic.

Italian gnocchi is everything. Inspired by this Gnocchi dish, I made sure to buy back gnocchi pasta to cook when I return home. Parting away from the general pasta dishes such as spaghetti, we wanted a heavier pasta type and just our luck, the restaurant served Gnocchi with truffles. Mmmmmm.

And of course a plate of Margherita pizza. The crust was baked crisp, and the cheese soft in its center that we Italian pizzas justified on their quality once again.
