After enjoying Varenna, we went back to Menaggio. Wandered through its winding, narrow streets and came across a beach with a view of the lake and mountain peaks under the cover of snow. We were lucky, he fell shortly before our arrival and gave the landscapes a special charm.
We spent some more time on the beach, throwing stones into the water and went along the embankment.
After walking for 5 minutes, we saw a mini-golf course. Today it is already closed, but we have planned to come here tomorrow and play.
Before we went to the hotel, we decided to stop by Lidl for food. The road to it was so picturesque. If you go inland from the lake, you can see a small piano lake, where they catch fish. We are very close to the border with Switzerland, from Lugano.
What else surprised Menaggio. In the morning we went to the mountains to the Chiesetta Madonna delle Grazie Di Paullo church near our villa.
Rising, we found the military grottos, which are very well preserved.
Fans of hiking can climb to the place of Monte Crocione and enjoy the views. Around Como there are many roads for hiking, the views here are really worth it to overcome these kilometers.
