#1 Hiking in Autumn #1 - from Jiadengyu to Hemu/ 北疆徒步之旅#1-贾登峪禾木

Our first featured post is from @kelvinzhang, he went on a stunning autumn hike at Xinjiang in China. This is a 30km hike, considered easy and one of the most beautiful in China. He starts off at Kanas, where the locals are mainly Kazakhs nomads, and hires two horses to help carry their tents and luggage. There's also a guide who goes with him and his team, and takes them through some stunning scenery. Every turn is more beautiful than the previous, making it impossible to not capture these breathtaking golden autumn scenes.

#2 Visit the Azores #16: Mystic lake, majestic chapel and cold sea! (EN/GER/FR)

Our next walk is with @roadtrips. He's continuing his journey at the Azores, Portugal. The first stop of the day is the Lagoa do Congro, an enchanting lake inside a forest. Next he goes to Vila Franca do Campo and visits a beautiful chapel with a great view facing the ocean. There's a lovely staircase through the garden that leads up to the chapel, and when you get there, you get a great view of the town below and a small island off the coast. Finally he stops at a small beach near Caloura and heads off to the starting point of the hike to the Lagoa do Fogo. We'll have to wait to see that.

#3 Reminiscing Monet's

Many people will be familiar with Monet's famous paintings, but how many have seen the actual gardens and ponds which inspired these paintings? Let's follow @immarojas to Giverny at Paris in France to see Monet's house and garden for ourselves. Most visitors here will go straight to the Japanese pond, which can be accessed via a tunnel under the road beside his house. Here you can see with your own eyes the setting from all the paintings that you have seen in magazines or on the TV. The garden at Giverny is hugh so @immarojas suggests to visit the house first, then the pond and finally spend time exploring the garden.
