I have been working on a movieset and therefore had not much time to take pictures. But of course I had the Weekend off and also made the occasional snapshot during work hours.

We are shooting in Kirchberg am Wagram. A beautiful spot and worth a visit. The people are really friendly and curious what‘s happening in their town.

These are not the chambers of the crew but we are stationed close to the castle which is about 15 minutes from the basecamp.

The castle hs been there for a long time and it carries the name Grafenegg. You can have a tour through the castle for 7€ or pay for the package and get a guided tour with a glass of wine for 15€. Unfortunately I couldn‘t fully document the insides of the castle chambers because my battery died.

The statue in this staircase has been built to look like a certsin dtaircase in an english castle. Unfortunately I lost the notes I made during the tour.

After ascending the stairs you get to visit chamber after chamber and one is more impressive than the other.

This is the bathroom with the biggest medieval bathtub built into the floor I have ever seen.

The sink also looks quite impressive and the window looks into the corridor which round half of the castle's inner wall. Unfortunately, my camera (iPhone 11) died. Low battery. Because I am always on must be reachable by the production manager.
The next picture in the picture dump is the view on the courtyard where a stage for concerts still had puddles from the rain at night. The reflection of the other side of the inner castle was just too intriguing and I started wishing for my Sony and my 85mm lens.

The ceiling of the so called "Wappenraum" in english "Coat of arms room"

After this

my phones battery died

On the road to Kirch am Wagram you pass this Stupa.

It has been built in 2016 and you can go and meditate there if you want. https://friedensstupa.at/

I will drop another fotodump from our movieset and the locations we get to visit.
