If you ever wanted to experience luxury and elegance on the most beautiful Adriatic coast, then Monte Carlo is the right place for you. This beautiful part of Monaco, located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, is known for its glamour, beautiful beaches and incredible architecture, and my visit made it all an unforgettable experience. Even though it was March, the weather surprised us - sunny, warm and perfect for exploring this beautiful place.
Although March is not usually a month to expect real summer weather, Monte Carlo delighted us with sunny days and pleasant temperatures during the day, which were perfect for walking and enjoying the outdoors. Upon arrival, we immediately fell in love with the grace of the city – narrow, elegant streets, beautiful cafe terraces and luxury shops were just some of the details that immediately impressed us.
One of the most beautiful moments of our trip was going to the famous Monte Carlo beach. The sea was calm, and the air smelled of juicy salt water. We walked alongside luxury yachts and enjoyed views of the beautiful coastline and architecture of Monte Carlo. The sun was shining on every building, and the clear blue horizon created an incredible atmosphere.
In addition to walking along the coast, we also visited the legendary Jardin Exotique, a botanical garden with a beautiful view of the city and the sea. This garden is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, and the scent of tropical flowers added to the magic that Monte Carlo offers.
When Monte Carlo is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the legendary casino. This beautiful, historic building from the 19th century is not only a place for gambling, but also a symbol of luxury and glamour. Although we did not gamble, we had the opportunity to walk through the casino, admire its luxurious interior and enjoy the atmosphere, which is a spectacle in itself. Surrounded by golden details, wealth and sophisticated ambience, we felt like we were in a movie.
One of Monte Carlo's greatest strengths is that it offers something for everyone, regardless of age. My family and I enjoyed the many activities that allowed both adults and children to relax and have fun.
Oases of peace in the heart of Monaco
The parks in Monaco are a true oasis in the heart of this luxurious principality, known for its glamour, but also for its refreshing natural beauty. One of the most famous parks in Monaco is the Jardin Exotique, or Exotic Garden, which is located on a high hill and offers a spectacular view of the sea and the city.
Jardin Exotique is a real paradise for plant lovers, with a wealth of exotic plant species originating from arid and tropical regions. This park is famous for being located on the steep slopes of the hill, which gives it a special charm. Visitors can walk among a variety of plants, enjoy peace and quiet, and in addition, an unforgettable view of Monte Carlo and the coast spreads all around them.
In addition to exotic plants, the park also has a cave that is open to visitors, and a small museum exhibition area dedicated to the geological history of Monaco. Walking through this garden, you can feel the true combination of nature and architecture, as the paths and greenery have been carefully designed to offer visitors relaxation, but also enjoyment of the view of the luxurious city.
Also, Fontvieille Park is another must-see park in Monaco. It is located in the Fontvieille district, which is a newer part of the city, built on earth embankments. This park is known for its spacious lawns, artificial lakes and colorful flower beds. Fontvieille Park is perfect for a family walk or picnic, and next to the park is the Jardins de la Petite Afrique, a small garden dedicated to the plants of Africa.
Exotic cars
When we think of exotic cars, the first thing that comes to mind is certainly Monte Carlo - a part of Monaco known for its luxury shops, casinos and beautiful streets. These streets are not only home to the richest people in the world, but also a real track for cars that tear the asphalt with their power and speed. In Monaco you will often see Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, but also very rare pieces like Bugatti Chiron or Pagani Huayra.
At every turn you can see a car that is a dream for many. Are you a fan of sports cars? In Monaco, you will surely come across a McLaren 720S, an Aston Martin DB11 or the latest Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which has become a symbol of luxury and prestige. This is a place where cars are not only driven, but become part of the lifestyle. On the streets of Monte Carlo, you can often see those beautiful, aggressive lines of luxury vehicles that take your breath away.
For lovers of speed and engineering perfection, Monaco also hosts the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which takes place every year. During this prestigious event, the entire city becomes a race track where you can see top racing cars competing on one of the most exciting and difficult racing courses in the world. Whether you're in the audience or simply enjoying the view from a cafe on the square, Formula 1 in Monaco is a real opportunity to admire the speed and technological sophistication of the cars that make this city the unmissable center of automotive passions.
But it's not just during the races that Monaco teems with exotic cars. When you walk along the Avenue de Monte Carlo, you can come across a Rolls-Royce Wraith or a Bentley Continental GT, and the wealth of cars is not limited to European brands. You can also see the Tesla Roadster more and more often, which shows how Monaco has become a center for electric car enthusiasts as well.
In addition to high-end sports and luxury cars, Monaco is also the place to see the latest technological developments in the automotive industry. Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, one of the fastest cars in the world, will certainly not go unnoticed on the streets of Monaco, just like the Rimac Nevera, the Croatian electric hypercar that has already become a global symbol of innovation in the automotive industry.
In Monaco, cars are not just means of transport – they are status symbols, part of the city's identity. And while everywhere in the world cars are usually associated with functionality, in Monaco they become real art. To visit Monaco and not see one of these exotic cars is to miss the essence of the city – because Monaco is not just a city, it is a lifestyle on four wheels.
Race track in Monaco - Circuit de Monaco
Circuit de Monaco is a race track that stretches through the narrow and winding streets of Monaco, and driving it requires exceptional precision, courage and experience. The track is about 3,337 kilometers long, and the drivers are faced with countless challenges – sharp turns, tight spaces and directions where speed must be perfectly balanced with precision. The race is run in the heart of the city, where the boundaries of the track are only a few centimeters away from the concrete fences, which creates a spectacular and tense atmosphere.
The track is unique because it doesn't look like other race tracks. Instead of the wide highways and modern tracks you can find around the world, the Circuit de Monaco uses real city streets. The start of the race begins in the square in front of the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo, and the racing laps stretch through key Monaco landmarks, including Port Hercules, the Fairmont Hotel, and the Tunel de Monaco. One of the most famous and dangerous parts of the track is the Mirabeau, a sharp turn that requires extreme precision, and the iconic Rascasse, a turn that has become a symbol of the track.
Due to the narrow streets and technical demands of the track, the Circuit de Monaco is known for being almost impossible to overtake, so maintaining your position throughout the race is key to success. This track doesn't just favor speed – it tests the driver's abilities in terms of control and tactical thinking. Every mistake can be decisive, and accidents are frequent, which makes the track even more exciting and unpredictable.
Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco
The Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco is an event that takes place every year in May and attracts the world's biggest stars from the world of motorsport, as well as celebrities from the world of film, fashion and entertainment. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious events in the world of Formula 1, and certainly the most elite. For drivers, winning in Monaco represents the pinnacle of their career. Lewis Hamilton, Ayrton Senna, and Alain Prost are just some of the names that left an indelible mark on this historic event.
The race in Monaco is also special because of the atmosphere it creates. The city turns into a real racing arena, and the streets of Monaco become a track where not only racers, but also fans, have fun. Hiltons and luxury ships at sea offer ultimate luxury, and spectators enjoy the spectacle watching the race from the hotel terrace or from the yacht. Just attending the Formula 1 race in Monaco is a privilege that many motorsport fans dream of.
Challenges and characteristics of the race in Monaco
The race in Monaco is more than just speed – it is a test for the drivers, but also for the teams. Technological advances in Formula 1 mean that every millimeter of the track is extremely important, and tactical planning and even pitting strategy can be crucial to the final outcome of the race.
Due to its specific configuration, the Monaco circuit does not allow for mistakes. Given that the track is narrow and there is no room to get out of it, the drivers have to be incredibly precise. Speed is only one part of the puzzle – if drivers are unable to find the right balance between speed and precision, they are unable to compete for victory.
One of the key factors that makes Monaco special is the incredibly loud and exciting atmosphere. The sound of cars racing through the narrow streets echoes through the city, creating an atmosphere that can hardly be compared to any other race.
