Have a nice Wednesday! Today we will go for a walk in Krasnodar. We have a very beautiful city and believe in it there are many interesting and amazing places...

This is a famous monument to the Kuban Cossacks and "Cossacks – the founders of The Kuban land", which is located right in front of the administration building.

It was installed here in the spring of 2005. The bronze horseman looks very swashbuckling and brave.

This work is by the famous sculptor Alexander Apollonov. The figure of the Cossack was cast in Rostov-on-don and taken to the Kuban capital by helicopter. The rider is mounted on a high granite pedestal and even from afar looks quite impressive.

Krasnodar residents say that at first the figure was set up facing the administration, however, the Governor immediately thought it strange and the monument was moved to face the people. But the historical prototype of this Cossack pioneer was the military judge Anton Golovaty.

Very close to it is the square of Marshal Zhukov. And here at the entrance you can see an interesting sculptural composition - Memorial arch with George the victorious, striking the snake.

A little further away is our famous "Green house" — the heart of Krasnodar. It is located at the intersection of red and Gymnasium streets.

The facade of the building is decorated with beautiful ceramic tiles of delicate greenish hue. In Soviet times, there was a great deli, and pioneers and komsomol members ran here for the most delicious cakes "basket". Once in the upper floors of the building housed a good hotel "Kuban".

This house is immediately adjacent to the building, which today is a historical and archaeological Museum-reserve named after Eugene Felitsyn.

It has a lot of interesting and amazing things...

I remember I already told about it, but now I will show only a few interesting exhibits from the Museum...

What do you think it is?

It turns out that in the old days, many preferred to put in the apartment and these are the dishes...

The building in which today is this Museum is quite old. Look at this magnificent architectural ensemble up close. There are lions with rings in their mouths, ornate columns, and various openwork ornaments.

And across the street from it is such a beautiful fountain.
