Hi friends, it has been a long time since I posted anything here because I have been very busy at work and now that it's a few days off I want to share with you some photos I took in these days.
In recent days I arrived by car in acquasantaterme a small town located in the province of Ascoli Piceno because then I had to reach Puglia together with a friend of mine who practically has a house there.
But since I stayed a few days there in Acquasanta Terme, I wanted to travel around the town and take some photos to share here with you and I must say that it is a beautiful town that is located right in the Gran Sasso national park, I must say that nature here it is very suggestive and however the history of this place is certainly to be associated with the spa
In fact, this place was already frequented by the ancient Romans around the year 700 because it seems that these Baths are miraculous the Romans came here to take care of themselves after the battles because they said that the water of this place made wounds heal quickly.
Then here in 1300 it became the State of the Church and it is said that in 1800 in the area there was a cholera epidemic but Acquasanta remained practically immune most likely thanks to the sulphurous waters and at this moment I took some photos near Castel di Luco the point most important tourist destination of Acquasanta.
the next day with my friend and after several hours of travel we arrived in Puglia exactly in Santa Maria di Leuca a fraction of the municipality of Castrignano del Capo in the province of Lecce we are practically in the southernmost part of Puglia, the wildest and most naturalistic one.
I am very lucky because he keeps a boat and the first thing we did was to take a beautiful boat ride because I wanted to always take pictures to take here.
I must say that in this part of Puglia I like it so much because it is very wild and the sea water is truly beautiful I had never seen such beautiful and colorful water apart from a little bit in Sicily.
Then the same day we moved to Ponte Ciolo a place that is very popular with locals, because they practically come here to dive from the rocks, my friend did it too, I didn't find the courage, I'm too afraid of these things !
I just got a big rip off from a fruit peddler who practically made me pay its weight in gold but otherwise it is a beautiful, enchanting place and definitely a visit here cannot be missed.
