Hello friends for the first time yesterday I visited the town of Taormina a very hilly town on the east coast of Sicily was this town you can see Mount Etna one of the most active volcanoes I think there are in the world.

Yesterday there was a really beautiful sea of a really intense blue however the first thing we saw was the city centre where you only get around on foot.

Of course, from the upper part of Taormina, you can see a beautiful panorama and remember that Taormina is called the Sicilian Saint-tropez precisely because it has a whole series of shops and boutiques of major Italian fashion brands.

I hope, one day to be able to climb up to Etna because I would like to take a ride I have never been on a volcano in my life however that day we had to visit the Greek theater of Taormina and then move to another location.

I think that the Greek theatre in Taormina is one of the most famous monuments not only in Sicily but in the whole world and I think that seeing a concert here is a nice thing anyway because you can also enjoy a beautiful view

Only it is really difficult to visit in this heat, it is almost better to come here in winter as I am sure the temperature is not low.

The theatre can seat more than 5000 people, and as I told you it is used for both plays and concerts in the summer, the price of the ticket we paid to enter is €10 which in my opinion is not that expensive even though the visit lasted very little and there was no audio guide available.

So we finished visiting this splendid theatre in about an hour and headed for the bus, which was a few kilometres from the theatre precisely because both cars and buses can only get to the lower part of Taormina.

Now that I am writing this article it is already the next day and I am in another location that you will discover in the next post I will publish but I must tell you that this is also a beautiful place.
