Park doesn’t need to be boring, right? The Al Majaz park in Sharjah, UAE is one of a kind park. It is built facing a man made lagoon, you can rent a boat to cruise you around with a minimal fee.

Al Majaz is divided into two parts. Al Majaz 1 and 2. Al Majaz 1 caters for children and playgrounds, while Al Majaz 2 has a vast area of open greens. Its is facing the waterfront lagoon.
There are jogging/walking path inside the park. Cafes and Restaurants of different cuisine is easily accessible within the area facing the waterfront.
Al Majaz park has different themes each month. In today’s month, it’s a replica of a grand mosque. Built at the heart of Al Majaz park.
You can view a delightful dancing fountain over the lagoon every 8pm with a duration of 10 minutes and every after 30 minutes
There are rented pedicabs, bikes and buggies to tour you around the area. The park has its built in music, mostly playing arabic songs, it is believed to help the plants grow happy.
Around two beautiful mosque is located within the massive park.
There is an amusement rides at the entrance of the park, and right to it will be this unique architecture that sits on the vast greens. It houses cables and supplies for the park
This picturesque park is busy between thursday and friday. In the winter season of UAE, which starts from november till april, Al Majaz park holds a local flea market every first friday of the month.
