A beautiful venue of worship where one may worship, reflect, and appreciate Thai culture. Just outside the temple, there is quite big parking area. This place was built in the 80's for Thai Buddhists living in Sweden.

The Buddharam Temple Stockholm

It takes around 45 minutes to get from Stockholm to this temple, which is situated in the tranquil, beautiful neighborhood of Värmdö.

It is possible that this may draw tourists. However, if you have a fantasy that it should be a huge temple and large place, you are thinking wrong. But it's a lovely spot for individuals who want to meditate and find mental calm.

Buddharam Buddhist Temple

The Buddharam Temple sign is the first thing you notice as you approach, and right in front of the parking lot is a sizable statue that has been erected on a mountain and is encircled by greenry.

The temple, where you may enter and meet the monk, is located just next to the statue. Inside the temple, there is a lot to see, including magnificent Buddhist statues and symbols.

A lovely woman approached my family and myself and offered us food from the dining area.

When we first arrived at the temple, the monk welcomed us and offered to bless me by wrapping a thread around my wrist before dousing us in holy water.

You may ascend stairs to a Buddha statue around the corner, where you can enter and carry out specific religious rites.

On the day we went to the temple, there was a celebration going on; people were dining outside while food was being cooked in tents. Some people donned traditional costumes, while others wore everyday attire.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about the ancient, harmonious, and spiritual teachings of the Buddha.
