Not a place for me
It was time to visit another local place, another place that I have passed by many times and I was always curious but reticent to pop in and grab a coffee.
The reason why I was so reticent is because this is a very small place with just a couple of sits, and every time I have passed by there was always a couple of people inside.
Because the space is so small and the people inside looked to know each other very well I wouldn't have space to sit and also I have never felt very comfortable to get in. It have always felt that it was a very close environment.
Finally I passed by and the place was empty, there was not a lot of people around on the streets so I thought if there would be any chance for me to try this place this would be the ideal time.
Not surprisingly, the place it is really small as I have noticed from the outside and it is very minimalistic.
After I was inside and because there were no more customers there when I have arrived I enjoyed the time I have spent there. In the time I have spent in the place there was a couple more people coming in but since I was already inside and was focusing on some work I was doing on the laptop I was fine with being in such a small place.
Also the customers that came in were probably first timers or pass by customers just like me so it didn't really change the vibe of the place.
Simple and minimalistic Coffee shop
Since the space it is small I thought it was clever to use the walls and the "decoration" to also spread the menu and give all the information you need about this place to order.
Not only they did it in a simple way but also in a way that helped the place to look good.
If you don't look with attention you might even think that the frames on the walls are simply there for decoration.
Only for takeaway
When I have ordered my coffee I have said that I would like to have the coffee in and I was served in a takeaway cup.
I have noticed as well that he didn't have any other types of cups. I guess because the place is small, to avoid the cleaning and to save space.
Ordered a white americano and specially when I went to smaller, local coffee shops like this I am always hopping to get a blend of coffee that not only tastes good but it is strong.
It was not the case.
The coffee was alright but it didn't blew my socks off. In general it was very average.
This was one of those places where the expectations were a little bit higher than the reality.
But at the same time since I have passed by so many times and I never really felt even comfortable to get in on a different time I feel like it is fair to say that the disappointment was also not to big.
In all honesty, there is not really anything too bad I can point to this place. In this case it is really just a matter of personal opinion and I did not really enjoyed the environment and the space appealing enough to ever come back again.
Although it is a very nice local place it is just not a my nice local place.
From all the places around I have tried this would probably be the last one on my list to visit once again.
