Surprise room in the back
Here I am walking down the street looking around and looking for the ideal place to stop, grab a coffee and get some work done on my laptop. While passing by the One Shot Coffee in Camden Town, I thought it looked cute and it would be a nice place for a quick stop. I wasn't sure if it was a great place to get some work done because I have only seen a couple of small tables by the door.
Anyway, I have decided to go in, order my coffee and as I do that I actually realise that just after the bar there is a big room in the back. That was a great surprise.
Because I wanted to get some editing done I have decided to go on the back and decided to take a sit there.
Something else very interesting about this place is that in the big back room that was art all over the walls, by different artists, that you could buy. I always like to go to places like this that not only serve nice coffee, have a nice area but try to support small and probably local artists.
By give them a space and some visibility. That is always a plus for me. When a business support creatives. This is a concept that some coffee shops follow as a business model and I really appreciate it.
Quick Coffee
I have decided to order a latte, since I was planning to stay for a little bit and get some work done. But then when I sat down I have noticed that there was no music playing, that's when I went online and checked that they were almost closing. It was my bad I haven't checked previously.
I did had time to get some work done and drink my coffee, no one came pressuring us to leave, but knowing they were closing I was not able to stay for as long as I wanted and had to cut this visit shorter.
Other than that there is nothing bad I have to say about this place.
As you can see I was not the only one that thought the One Shoot Coffee is a great stop for a working session. I was just too late to really be able to enjoy the place. If I am in the area and I am looking for a nice place to have coffee I will for sure come by once again.
Maybe even check the art around and collect some. I would love to be able to support other artists out there.
