Dune's Makeover: A Return Visit Story

Dune's Makeover: A Return Visit Story

Returning to this coffee shop but with a difference

I have visited this space when it had a different name and a while back I have told you that is was announced to open a new coffee shop in the same place and that I had to go visit.

So I took the time to go and see if Dune, was a better place than the coffee shop that was here previously.

For those who never visited or missed the review when this was Barry's Kitchen, you might not be able to tell. A lot has changed but at the same time, not a lot of changed.

I have also realised that the staff was the same and then I heard the owners are also the same.

I guess that's why the changes are not that big.

Sometimes businesses get a certain popularity and in some cases that is not good. I guess this was the case, people did not look at the place and see it as a good place to visit.

So, in an attempt to bring their business back to life, they have decided to rebrand and refurbish the place. Creating a whole different vibe.

I personally, prefer this decoration and the space now, it gives it a warmer and nicer atmosphere. And I feel like people are buying into it.

Been there already a couple of times, and not like in the past, there are always costumers inside and coming and going.

The Coffee and the Menu

When it comes to the coffee, my opinion stands, because there was no upgrade there. I feel like they are using the same coffee as before.

It is an alright coffee, very drinkable, but nothing special.

Although now the place is way more pleasant to visit.

Some nice offers on the menu, simple but I guess very efficient.

Since the first visit as I said, I have been there a couple of times and I have enjoyed so I might keep going to this place.

Hopefully they will be able to surf this rebrand and stay on track so the business can be successful.
