Cherry on every moment

Today I have decided to come to Portobello Road and area that I have not visited in many years as well. I think the last time I was in the area was for the Nothing Hill Carnival, the year before the Pandemic.

Have to admit that the weather is terrible and there is a Storm on the way, Storm Dudley, but the orange alert have not stopped me of living the house to make the best of my day.

Cherry on caught my eye as soon as I got out of the Underground station in Nothing Hill Gate. This cakes on the window really made me want to get in. Although I have resisted the temptation because I just had lunch before I left home.

As soon as I have entered I loved the decoration and the atmosphere of the place. It was spacious and when I was in it was really quiet. I don't mind busy places but when I am looking for a place to work it is important to me that is not too busy so I can focus and get some work done. So when the place have some customers but not too many, it is the ideal time for me to visit and also to be able to enjoy the place. Because if I have plans to get work done and it is too busy and I start stressing out it will influence my opinion and probably make me enjoy the place a little bit less.

Latte and no cake

I was almost about to order a cake but to be honest I was not really hungry. I should have thought about it before I left home and have a full lunch. I would have been greedy to order something that I was just having because my eyes really felt in love. But I want to come around this beautiful area more often so the next time I will plan and come empty belly.

Instagram vibes

I think this type of decoration in coffee shops became very popular because many years ago this was super popular on Instagram, this was the fancy/cute decorations all this places that influencers were visiting had.

It does give a great look and atmosphere to the place to be honest and it make it look very calming and relaxing, so many places stick to it and are still decorating within this style.

I have to say that I recommend this place and I will for sure come back for cake as I said.

This was suppose to be a quick stop since I wanted to walk around and enjoy the Portobello Market but in then I ended up staying for an hour and got some editing done. This is how comfortable I was feeling.

Funny Story

We almost had a fight. A couple of mums came with their toddlers (that we all know that can be a little bit more noisy) but then another mum came with two kids and literally went to the table to tell them to be quiet because they were being too loud. The toddler mums were really nice and the situation finished at that. If she had came to my table and told me my kids were being too loud I guarantee you that the end would have been different. That was so rude, specially because the kids were not even being that loud or disrespectful at all. She was lucky.
