So much History
I could go and do a Google search and paste it here telling you all the history behind the Camden Market, I could do that like so many other people do in their posts, but personally I don't like to rip off other people's work and pretend it is my own. What I write and what I share it is my own personal knowledge and what I know about Camden Market it is not enough to give you all the real history behind it. But I know somethings about it and I know they are very interesting, so I would recommend you to go and do your search about it before or after you have visit this place, and get the information from people that actually have studied about it and have all the good and real information about this amazing place.
I can tell you that in the past this amazing market and great place to visit in the beginning of the XXI century was in the past the Royal Stables, just this information itself can for sure put you in a different mindset. Just thinking about what's went down in this place a couple of centuries ago is so interesting.
The refurbishment it got and the way this place have been used in our "modern" society is really amazing. Not only you will see a lot of tourists around all the time but you will notice that are a lot of locals and also a lot of Londoners in general that choose this place as a place to return over and over again.
It doesn't really matter if you are a Londoner, a local, if you work in the area or you are a tourist. This area of the city will never get boring and every time you go for a visit you will enjoy, have a good time and have fun.
I can't tell you how many times I went to Camden Town to capture some photos, went with friends for a snack or a drink, a night out. Many different ways to experience this place. And I recommend them all.
Even the experiences I don't remember because I was too drunk and the sun was coming out!
