My favourite coffee stop in Folkestone
This is the place to stop in Folkestone if you are looking for a nice, cosy space to enjoy a nice coffee.
The decoration is really fun and the space although very small it has an acessome atmosphere.
I dare to say that this is my Top 1 of places in Folkestone I have visited so far for a coffee break.
As per usual I have decided to order my white americano, well, I did not really order it. I have now visited this place so many times that the lady there already knows what I usually have to drink.
That shows also that the staff is very attentive and want to give you the best service.
Sometimes you just look at a coffee and you know how good it will taste. I want you to tell me by looking at this photos, how good do you think this coffee is.
If you said great, you were absolutely right. Because on top of the nice space and cool staff, the coffee is also delicious.
Another interesting and very nice thing in Picklebacks is that they support local artists but exposing their works and also selling them.
So not only this is a coffee shop but also a small art gallery, so you can appreciate some art and if you have the budget, collect it and support the local artists.
One of the great things about this place is that is in a quiet street and big windows in the front of the store who allow you to be appreciating the view while inside a nice place.
I have never been here at night but my friend has, and if you are in a mood for a cocktail or a drink, I also know that the place is awesome and very "familiar".
As I write this, is Saturday, so maybe tonight I need to visit it and give it a go. What do you say?
I always like to take the time to appreciate the art in the walls. If only I had enough to collect, I probably would collect some to support the artist. Because I know how hard it is to make a living as an artist.
No matter how many times I visit this place, I don't ever think it will be possible to have a bad time.
And I think all my visits will be 5 stars visits.
It will be difficult to find another place in the area that I will like more than Picklebacks. And I have already visited a few, so I know what I am talking about.
If you are down in Folkestone and looking for a place to grab a coffee or maybe even a cheeky drink I would say that Picklebacks is the place to go. I promise you will not regret.
