Finally the size I like it
I almost have not stopped to grab coffee in here because there were so many places around that I could pick and this one seem to be the least nice. Surprise, it was super nice.
You know that when I am ordering my white americano I want a huge mug, it really annoy me when I order the coffee and then they bring it to me and are those really tiny mugs that have almost nothing to drink.
If I am paying 3 or more pounds for a mug of hot water at least give me some water so I can be busy for a while. And here at Amajla's Caffee they served me a great one.
Also have to say that the coffee tasted really nice and was well served. Was not burned at all.
The place was quiet and you have a couple of tables outside by the door that you can sit on, for sure really nice to sit in the summer with an iced coffee, some music, a cigarette and a book.
The locals around this place that are coffee shop fans are very lucky to have this place around.
Needless to say that the decoration was nothing over the top. It is more of a local family business type of coffee shop for what I understood.
Both the people behind the bar were talking a language I didn't recognise and I am curious to know which language spells coffee as caffee.
In here they also serve food, some sandwiches and salads, one customer that came after me ordered scrambled eggs on toast and they smelled and look great (not like the last eggs on toast I have shared in a different place, not that long ago).
Price wise I would say that this place is even below the average, specially because the coffees, and even the portion of food I have seen being served were very generous.
If you are walking in the area and you need to grab a bit or just a nice and quick coffee stop, definitely think about Amajla's Caffee. I totally recommend you to stop here.
I am losing money with this Reviews
Visiting more restaurants? I am not the biggest fan of food. And this is one of the reasons I am mainly keeping this series based on visiting coffee shops, pubs and bars. I am more of a coffee, alcohol fan. But would you like me to extend this series and also try to include some restaurants now and then?
But to be completely honest with you, another reason I have not added restaurants to this series yet is because even with coffee shops, the majority of times I am spending way more money than I am actually making with the rewards I get from this posts. So sometimes it can be a little bit difficult to keep going out and spending money.
Don't forget, in this case for example, the coffee cost me only £2.60 but to get there I have spent at least £6 in transport. Even if I end up making 30 in HIVE with this post, that would mean probably 14 HIVE would be for me and 16 for curators. So that would mean maybe 6 liquid hive and 8 HIVE Power. In a good scenario HIVE is around $1 that means I would get $6 that are around £4.50!
This is just kind of a quick simple breakdown.
On top of it, remember all the hours I spend walking around, finding new places, editing photos and writing this posts.
But now you know one of the reasons why I have not yet added restaurants to this series.
I am actually losing money with it.
