After completing our visit to Statue of Unity (You can read them here , our next destination was to visit Dwarka , and on the way, we had a stop by at Jamnagar, Gujurat. Its around 300 km from Ahmedabad and we started early, because the plan was to visit the places in Jamnagar at the afternoon. Gujarat is quite energy efficient especially due to wind power. On our way, we saw a factory and one of the massive wing being carried over.

It took around 6 hrs to reach there from Ahmedabad. We checked into Hotel Anaya Beacon, a decent 3-star hotel, at the posh area.

After taking 15-20 min rest, and some strong coffee we headed to our first attraction Swaminarayan Temple. I did not hear about Swaminarayan Temple earlier, but after reaching there, I felt like, it was an architectural marvel. The temple opens at 4 pm in the afternoon, and we reached there around 5 pm.

The temple is built on a huge area and quite well maintained. I heard, people usually come in the evening, to relax and some even do meditation there. The good thing about the temple is that, you can just walk inside without any formality, and visit the interiors.
