I haven't posted anything in the last few days because my family and I were traveling around Thailand and I took a lot of photos from different locations, which I will tell you about next time.

And today we will talk about elephants, art and charity!

The sculptures of Elephant Parade never go unnoticed - they attract the attention of the general public and the media. Each statue is a unique piece of art created by artists and celebrities. At the end of the exhibition, some of the sculptures are sent to auction, and the proceeds go to support programs for the protection and welfare of elephants.
20% of the net profits of Elephant Parade are donated to elephant protection projects.

Elephant Parade provides a permanent source of funding for charitable programs, helping elephants in their fight for space, dignity and survival. The mission is not only to support organizations and initiatives for the protection of elephants, but also to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving these majestic animals.

Some information is taken from the site https://www.elephantparade.com

We happened to be nearby and I couldn't pass by without taking a photo of these cute art objects. This exhibition will last all of March and April - you have the opportunity to visit it if you are in Pattaya during these months. I know that everyone loves elephants and they are especially loved and revered in Thailand.

I took all the photos at night and in my opinion it is even better than if I had photographed them in bright light. The varnish covering the elephants would have reflected the sun's rays very strongly and in my opinion would have worsened the picture.
As far as I understand, this is an international project and some of the elephants are painted in national styles. Nearby, you could take a photo with various animals and even feed some.

Also, in the neighboring tents you can buy painted elephants and thereby participate in a charity event and also vote for the art object you like.

I suggest you choose the elephant you like and write about it in the comments. My son and I have our favorites and I will leave their photos last.

My son chose an elephant with a BMW logo, since at 6 years old he is a fan of this brand of cars )))
Well, of course, I chose an elephant painted in "Khokhloma" - this is an old Russian style, which is a decorative painting of wooden dishes and furniture, made in red, green and gold tones on a black background.

All the photos were taken in Thailand 🇹🇭 - the city of Pattaya! 📷
I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.

Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays!
