Hello everyone!
In the last post I started a story about our favorite secluded beach in Pattaya, but I decided to split the story into two parts so as not to overload you with information and photos. Too long posts can be tiring, and I want you to find it interesting! So, we continue our day under the palm trees, with a beer in hand and a camera at the ready.

My wife is basking in the sand, sunbathing in the warm sun, and I am sitting at a table, sipping a beer. I admit, I rarely drink, so after the fourth bottle the world began to seem a little brighter, and the desire to get up from my chair - a little less. Deciding not to strain myself, I began to take pictures right from the spot, lazily pointing the lens at everything that came into view.

Meanwhile, my son found himself a friend for adventures - a local girl. They were enthusiastically rummaging through a pile of old leaves, and at first I didn’t understand what had caught their interest. It turned out they had noticed a large lizard! I managed to catch it in my lens for a couple of seconds before it darted back into the foliage. This shot was a small victory of the day!

After a while, there was a lull. In order not to get bored, I tried to photograph a pigeon that was busily strolling nearby. And my son, with his usual imagination, dragged in a dead crab, confident that I would be able to make a “beautiful photo” out of it. Well, whether it was beautiful or not is up to you to judge, but for my son’s sake I tried!

While I was opening the fifth bottle, the children continued their coastal expeditions. My son made a long “fishing rod” out of sticks and walked along the water’s edge with an important air, and the girl followed him closely, watching with curiosity. I looked at him and thought: "Well, that's definitely my genes!" In my youth, I also knew how to attract attention.

Two Thai girls flashed by on the right, who seemed to be looking for a place for a photo shoot. They looked around, choosing the perfect background. I could have come closer and taken a couple of shots, but the fifth bottle finally chained me to the chair. Laziness won, and I just watched them from afar.

By the sixth bottle, I decided it was time to stop - enough for today. But before that, I needed to do something worthwhile. I chose my wife, who was just approached by a girl selling jewelry. They chatted about something, not noticing my lens, and the shots turned out lively and natural. Such moments are real luck for a photographer!

Towards the end of the day, an elderly beach caretaker came up to me. He complained that the children, chasing a lizard, scattered the leaves, and now he would have a long time to clean up. I came up with a solution: I called my son and his girlfriend, handed them brooms and explained that after playing, they had to leave the area tidy. To my surprise, they enthusiastically got down to business, and I captured them cleaning up. It was a great lesson and a warm moment that ended our day.

This beach is our place of power in Pattaya. There are no crowds, only the sound of the waves, the shade of the trees and small family adventures. I hope my photos and stories have conveyed a piece of this atmosphere to you.

I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.

Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays!
