Karachi has many beaches and sea view points, each of them are worth visiting. One of them is "do darya", very famous family spot for sea view and fishing.
I still cant figure it out why it is named DO DARYA which means two rivers in Urdu, didn't match. So, I searched on google where same question was raised by many, only one of the answer was close and could be understandable that when this area was not so developed, at this spot you could see two different colors of sea as if this is the meeting point of two different rivers.
The place is not 100% developed as per my opinion. Boundary of rocks has been placed where people can sit and enjoy cool sea breeze.
You may spend hours just watching the waves and nature, it is so relaxing and refreshing.
Other popular thing of the spot is chain of beautiful restaurants at the edge of the sea. These restaurants were so well constructed and gives a scenic view along with amazing food.
Among these restaurants, Sajjad restaurant is our family restaurant and has visited multiple times. The atmosphere and food here has its own unique taste, service is of top quality and are providing the unique Continental, BBQ, Pakistani and Chinese cuisines.

Last weekend, we went to "do darya" spot with Family for the first time, spent little time having stunning views and then walk on the sideways to the restaurant which was 1 km away from the spot.
It was a nice outing experience and kids enjoyed a lot although it was so crowded and full of people which was totally opposite of what we thought. It is end days of the month and fuel was increased 20% recently but none of this matters to the people of Karachi LOL, non-availability of sitting due to enormous crowd.
Sajjad restaurant has an excellent atmosphere and experience of dining. We prefer to have hut but this time, it was all full. Still, they managed and provided us one of the best place for dinner. Kids were amazed and said is this a boat which is sailing on corner the sea.
We ordered and waited like 20 mins to be served.

Food was fantastic as usual and taste was so amazing, we really had a great time all together.
This place is highly recommended, specially to boost tourism.
