Dubai - Impressive Skyline
Come to Dubai and experience for yourself what this skyscraper city has to offer.
It is incredible.
Wherever you go along the main road in the town center, there are lots of highrises shooting to the sky!
We decided that we are going to keep walking on the main streets to capture these highrises.
These high rises do not look alike at all.
They all have different designs.
Look in front of you! You can see that Dubai is still constructing tall highrises everywhere as if there's not enough.
In fact, the city is still booming.
Dubai - the largest city in the United Arab Emirates.
Dubai has so many tall buildings. There is a total of 88 highrises that shoot up to 180 meters. It is about 591 feet.
Dubai Buri Khalifa
This is the tallest building in Dubai.
I am standing too close to this tall building that I can't take a complete picture of the building.
The building rises to 822 meters which comes to about 2,717 feet tall.
Can you guess how many floors there are in the elevators?
161 Floor!
In fact, this tower is the tallest building in the world.

If you visited Dubai before 2010, you would not have been able to seen the city as it was finished on January 2010. This is the reason why there have been lots of tourists coming here since Jan 2010 to visit this tallest building in the world. Every once in a while, you will hear a family member or a colleague saying that they are heading out to Dubai. This is a must-go-to place in Dubai.
Business District
The Business Bay district also has a lot of high rises lining up in the skyline.
Dubai has the tallest skyline in the Middle East and even the world.
According to statistics, the skyline of Dubai ranks at number 6 in the world with 248 buildings rising to about 100 meters up into the sky.
So when you come to Dubai, don't just go on tourists buses or taxis.
Do what we do and that is, you need to walk the streets from one end to another.
Only in this way will you feel the drama of the city of skyscrapers.
All this is just so incredible!
When there are so many buidlings, it also means that there are lots of people here.
They say that by 2020 which is only next year, Dubai’s population is expected to grow to more than three million in population.
That is really something, isn't it?
Arabian style of Architecture
Look at the details of all the different designs!
They stand so tall and so sharp!
They look so graceful!
You just can't imagine a building coming down like this with such a natural curve!
The Emirate prides itself on its easy mix of culture and lifestyle, attracting not just locals from nearby region but people from all over the world flock to here.
For this reason, you will see many of these skyscrapers have mixed designs of buildings and offices.
And it is not just standing tall in height either.
Look carefully in all the designs and the appearance of an aesthetic aura that make each building quite distinctive to Dubai. This is what makes Dubai so exciting for tourists.
The next 2 buildings below have their own special designs that are Arabic in style. The one on the left is adorned with variants of traditional Arabic design with a screen for shade as they are constructed especially for privacy.
The one on the right is distinctive in its geometric properties.
