Look how awesome the view is when you get to the top of Mykonos.
When you get off from the ferry, you will be greeted by a lot of travel agents near the port.
They will be eager to take your luggage and show you the best spot to stay in Mykonos. If you have not already booked a place for yourself, you can take a look at their accomodation to see if you like them. If the accomodation is up to the top of hill, don't worry, they will drive you up there.
We have been to Mykonos twice. First time, we stayed in the town center. The second time round, we stayed at the mountain top of Mykonos.
If I choose it again, go for the mountain top so that you can enjoy the breathtaking view during your stay.
Checking into our Hotel
The travel agent took us to the top of Mykonos to stay in 'top of the world' accomodation. We had to go by car with our luggages.
As you can see, this place is quite clean and tidy.
This is really all you need.

Right outside the bedroom is a kitchenette with a small dining table that leads out to a small veranda where we can enjoy the view of Mykonos.
Isn't this a dream for everyone who wants to live in paradise.

If you ever need to write a book, or compose a song like I do, you will get lots of inspiration staying up here enjoying the peace and quietness all around you.
Since there is a kitchnette here, you don't need to always go down to the town center to buy food.
But if you like exercises, by all means, go down to the town center every day.
The hike down is quite pleasant as you get to see the view of Mykonos right in front of you.
Since it is going down the hill, going down is a breeze.
Getting back up takes a little bit of climbing but it is good exercises for you.
But all this is worth the climbing!
