Soest is a City in the west of Germany with a population of around 48,000 to 55,000. The city received municipal rights already in the mid-12th century, and its heyday lasted from the 12th to the 15th century thanks to its strong involvement in trade with, among others, England, Brabant and Flanders, which made the city gain in importance and develop rapidly. It was also a member of the Hanseatic League and was ruled by the mid-15th century. by the archbishops of Cologne, soon broke away from their reign, which led to the so-called five-year war, which led to considerable damage, and began to lose the city's importance. During the Second World War, the city was heavily damaged, but the old town from the 12th - 15th part of the city remained intact. And today we will start visiting this city and see these beautiful buildings, and we will start with the road to the Market Square and see the market itself

Soest to miasto w zachodnich Niemczech z populacją od około 48 000 do 55 000. Miasto otrzymało prawa miejskie już w połowie XII wieku a swój rozkwit przeżywało XII do XV dzięki mocnemu zaangażowaniu w handel miedzy innymi z Anglią ,Brabancją oraz Flandrią co spowodowało że miasto nabrało na znaczeniu i szybko się rozwijało. Była też członkiem Hanzy a do połowy XV wieku było rządzone przez arcybiskupów Kolonii , wkrótce wyrwało się z pod ich panowania co doprowadziło do tak zwanej wojny 5-cio letniej co doprowadziło do sporych zniszczeń ,oraz rozpoczęcia utraty znaczenia miasta . Podczas Drugiej wojny światowej miasto mocno zniszczone , ale stare miasto z XII - XV wieku uchowało się w większości nie naruszone. I my dziś rozpoczniemy zwiedzanie tego miasta i zobaczymy te piękne budowle ,a zaczniemy od drogi do Rynku ,oraz zobaczenia samego rynku

We Beginning from the outskirts of the city center, buildings from the Middle Ages and newer tenement houses appear in this place 

Zaczynamy od obrzeża centrum miasta, już w tym miejscu pojawiają się budowle z okresu średniowiecza oraz nowsze kamienice

We come to an interesting place, next to a medieval building, there is a huge bunker from the Second World War, it has been converted into apartments, or at least that was the plan, the most distinctive part at the top of the building is the only currently inhabited apartment, the rest of the owners went bankrupt.

Dochodzimy do ciekawego miejsca ,obok średniowiecznej budowli ,stoi ogromny Bunkier z okresu drugiej wojny światowej został on zaadaptowany po apartamenty a przynajmniej taki był plan, najbardziej wyróżniająca się część na szczycie budynku to jedyny obecnie zamieszkały apartament ,reszta właścicieli splajtowała .

We go further along the streets of the city, where buildings from different periods mix to give an interesting effect, somewhere we see tenement houses, next to a building from the Middle Ages, modern supermarkets, apartments, and shops.

Idziemy dalej ulicami miasta gdzie ,budowle z różnych okresów mieszają się nadając ciekawy efekt ,gdzieś tu widzimy Kamienice , obok Budynek z średniowiecza , do tego całkowicie współczesne markety ,mieszkania ,i sklepy.

We come to the point where the preserved medieval architecture begins to appear in more and more parts, along with its interesting elements, then it is only better.

Dochodzimy do momentu gdzie zachowane średniowieczne budownictwo zaczyna pojawiać się coraz częściej ,wraz z jego ciekawymi elementami , później jest już tylko lepiej.

We come almost to the market square in Soest, behind this beautiful medieval building there is a real gem.

To dochodzimy już niemal do samego rynku w Soest ,za tą piękną średniowieczną budowla kryje się prawdziwa perełka. 

And here it is the market square in Soest, it is not huge, but full of charm. We have cafes, shops, all among both old tenement houses and beautifully preserved buildings from the medieval period.

I oto on rynek w Soest , nie jest on wielki jednak pełen uroku. Mamy tu kawiarenki sklepiki ,a wszystko to pośród zarówno starych kamienic, jak i przepięknie zachowanych budynków z okresu średniowiecza. Robi to naprawdę wrażenie

And here is a curiosity, the first building on the right, which we also saw when entering the market, was built relatively recently. The building burned down, so it was decided to dismantle it and completely reconstruct it, using various elements that survived the fire

I tu ciekawostka pierwsza budowla z prawej , którą też widzieliśmy wchodząc na rynek ,powstała stosunkowo nie dawno .Otóż Budynek ten spłonął ,więc postanowiono go rozebrać i kompletnie zrekonstruować od nowa używając również elementów które przetrwały pożar
