O czym Dziś:

Opactwo Św. Marii ( St Mary's Abbey) znajdujące się w Ogrodach Muzealny , Czy też National Railway Museum - Narodowe Muzeum Kolejnictwa -to i nieco więcej w tym ostatnim odcinku z wycieczki do Yorku . Zaczniemy od wejścia do parku ,a dokładnie do ogrodu muzealnego. Oprócz samego muzeum w tym miejscu znajdują się wspaniałe ruiny Opactwa Św.Marii która w latach świetności  była równie ważna jak sama katedra York Minster a tym samym jej opat. Teren który zajmowała był naprawdę sporych rozmiarów i do dziś możemy ( i zobaczymy ) pozostałości murów tego opactwa. Wychodząc z ogrodu/parku pokaże wam niewielka pozostałość wieży która została zbudowana ,na ruinach wieży z okresu rzymskiego ,zasadniczo wieża ta była częścią murów chroniących garnizon rzymski. Ostatnim punktem naszej wycieczki do gratka dla wielbicieli pociągów ,wagonów ,parowozów i elektro wozów . Udamy się do prawdopodobnie największego na świecie muzeum kolejowego  ,gdzie zobaczymy  maszyny z początków kolejnictwa aż bo współczesne.

What today:

St. Mary (St Mary's Abbey) located in the Museum Gardens, or the National Railway Museum - the National Railway Museum - this and a bit more in this final episode of a trip to York. We will start with the entrance to the park, and more precisely to the museum garden. In addition to the museum itself, in this place there are wonderful ruins of St. Mary's Abbey, which in its heyday was as important as the York Minster cathedral itself, and thus its abbot. The area it occupied was really large and we can (and will see) the remains of the abbey walls until today. Coming out of the garden / park, I will show you a little remnant of the tower that was built, on top of the ruins of a tower from the Roman period, basically this tower was part of the walls protecting the Roman garrison. The last point of our trip is a treat for fans of trains, carriages, steam locomotives and electric cars. We will go to probably the largest railway museum in the world, where we will see machines from the beginning of the railway industry, up to date.
