Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great week!

This will be my 3rd post on Bras D'eau since I visited it 2 weeks back!

In my first post, I mainly wrote and share photos of the overall experience I had at Bras D'eau! Like an overview!

If you missed that post, kindly check it out by clicking here!

Then on my 2nd post of Bras D'eau, it was the Water Well of the Colonial period which was the highlight of that post!

I invite you to read that post by clicking right here...in case you've missed it!

Let me show you some animals you can found over there...

Well these are only the ones I saw...there must be much more around!

I'll start with this lovely red bird...we do have a lot of different species of birds and this one was special...

When we were eating...he just came next to us and was like waiting to be served too!

Of course he was given a lot of food !

Pink Pigeon...

While walking near the tortoise shed, I noticed that there was another thing to visit...

A dedicated place for Pink Pigeon!!!

Pink Pigeon is a species of pigeon in the family of Columbidae endemic to Mauritius. The pink pigeon nearly became extinct in the 1990s and is still very rare to see...

It was not my luck day when I visited this quarantine site...I could not see any Pink Pigeon!!!

By the way...we are left with only around 400 of pink pigeons in the wild and they are still in the 'critically endangered' category of birds.

We have some quarantine sites around the island which are here to help grow the pink pigeon population.

Here's how a pink pigeon of Mauritius looks like!

River Prawns...

If you will do the nature trail...mid way you will see this small water pond...

It is a very nice place to sit and relax a bit before continuing the route!

If you look closer in the dark water...you will get to see nice river prawns! I could not take photos of them...but I did saw a lot in there!

Visitors Center...

Normally you should start your visit by starting to check out this place...

You will get a lot of information in there as well as discover some nice wild life collections and books etc...

Oh well...as I was over excited to start my trail, I did not get the opportunity to go inside and take photos!!! I will do it next time for sure!

These are only couple of animals that you can see at Bras D'eau...I believe there must be monkeys, many butterflies, geckos and other animals over there, but none are dangerous, so rest assured.

In my country we don't have any lions, tigers, venomous snakes etc...we are in paradise over here!

Hope you've enjoyed this post and will give it some support!

Thanks for reading and appreciating my blog!
