The sky right above us
the trail unknown
don't know where were we headed upto
a heavenly heaven itself.

Narrower and narrower the trail became as we were making our way! On the trail unknown!

Julley Everyone!

A beautiful day out here! Somewhere about 13,000 feet above the sea level. Wondering and exploring the mysterious trails of the Kullu Region of Himachal Pradesh. The Northern Himalayas.

3:42PM
Decending the Rani Sui Mountain.

So here all of it started, We were on our expedition to Rani Sui Lake. A mysterious Lake in the Upper Valley of Kullu. It was our day out descending the mountain and though there was another pathway that the hikers use but we decided to explore the place and see the unseen side of the Rani Sui Mountain.

Though the mountain was un named so we named it The rani Sui Ridge and The main gateway used to be over the the ridge so that the hikers could easily reach their destination as the trails all around would led them to a very remote and different direction.

This once used to be the main gateway to the Kangra Valley which by road from Manali was around and more than 200KM and the ancient people used to cross valleys through the on which we were covering up the distance. As told by the ancient local people. The kings of the Kullu Valley used such trails in order to commute.

Few of the people even had stories and mysteries related and referring the trail a gateway to the heaven and they say that in ancient holy books such gateways in Himalayan region leads to a way to the heaven.

The time and the stories more than thousands of years old I guess we were the first one capturing the on this season of hiking taking the ancient Enroute to Rani Sui Expedition.
IMG_3648 Large.jpeg

It was quite technical as we did not had any sort of hiking gear or equipment, whatever we had was a big hear and a big smile and a belief that kept us going.

POV view of the trail.

We were just looking up and walking carefully as if our heads would turn down and see the cliff we would just feel totally scared because of the tiny trail. At a certain point the trail was quite okay byt at certain points it was I would say one of the most difficult places I have ever been and at such points I was even not able to capture photographs.

The change in the trails like these is quite often in the Himalayas as during the winter season the whole place gets covered under a thick blanket of snow and the snow lasts more than 7-8 months and at certain points of the Himalayas the snow lasts forever.
