The Great Smoky Mountains - Little River

The Great Smoky Mountains in United states of America has spread across three states. Georgie Tennessee and North Carolina.
The Green mountain cover is the best place to visit for fall colors. The national park also offers a lot of amazing water Falls and gorges.

Here I want to share my travel experience to The Great smoky mountains for fall season.
I use to stay in Atlanta Georgia. And the smokies were just 200 miles away.
The well known cities I would always visit are Cherokee, Gatalinburg and PegionForge.

The picture above is of the Little River gorges. The River flows along the highway between Gatalinburg and Cades Cove. The highway offers a huge collection of beautiful trees which would turn into a colorful guardians. Even though the speed limit was 35 mph to 45 mph, we drove not more than 20 mph.
Would stop every few miles and spend hours clicking pictures and getting into the water stream.

The highway has many view points and enough parking space for you to park your cars and walk.
Below is one such instance

We parked our car and walked near the beautiful view of little River falling and flowing over the stones.

Some pictures at a selected spot where we had colorful trees and space to sit near the water flow.

The Huge rock half immersed in flowing water had a place to sit and feel the force of water. Playing splash waters was a cool thing.

The park attracts enough tourists and locals in fall that most of your clicks are photo bombed 😁😁

While you cross the mountains you will have a wonderful experience of watching the entire mountains getting colored.

If you are planning for a visit@, always visit on weekends to avoid traffic.
