The morning sun had just started to rise as I set out on my visit to one of the most iconic landmarks in Porto, the Estádio do Dragão. As a devoted supporter of FC Porto, this visit was something I had been eagerly looking forward to for quite some time. The clear, blue sky and the warm rays of the sun promised a perfect day for exploring and immersing myself in the history and ambiance of this magnificent stadium.

Como adepto devoto do FC Porto, esta visita era algo que eu ansiava já há algum tempo. Dragão Stadium, the home ground of FC Porto, is not just any stadium. It holds a special place in the hearts of many football fans, especially those of us who bleed blue and white. Located in the eastern part of the city, the stadium is easily accessible and stands as a modern marvel amidst the historic and picturesque scenery of Porto.

Upon reaching the stadium, I was struck by its grandeur. The sleek design and the dragon-themed architecture were aweinspiring. The stadium, which opened in 2003, has a seating capacity of over 50000 and is known for its fantastic atmosphere on match days. As a football enthusiast, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride knowing that this was the fortress of my beloved FC Porto, a club with a rich history and a plethora of achievements.

Ao chegar ao estádio, fiquei impressionado com a sua grandeza. O design elegante e a arquitetura com o tema de dragão eram inspiradores. Unfortunately, as I approached the entrance, I realized that the stadium was closed. It wasn’t a match day, and the gates were locked.
The morning sun shining brightly. The clear skies made everything appear more vibrant, and the cool breeze added to the pleasant atmosphere. I started my walk around the perimeter of the stadium, taking in every detail.

Infelizmente, ao aproximar-me da entrada, percebi que o estádio estava fechado. Não era dia de jogo e os portões estavam trancados.

As I walked, I couldn’t help but think about the countless memorable matches that have taken place here. From domestic league triumphs to unforgettable European nights, Dragão Stadium has witnessed it all.

The sun was now high in the sky, and the stadium was bathed in a warm glow. I found a spot where I could sit and take in the view. From here, I had a panoramic view of the entire stadium, and it was truly breathtaking.

These achievements are a testament to the club unwavering commitment to excellence and its ability to compete at the highest level.
