Yesterday in the late afternoon I arrived in the city of Perugia, one of the most beautiful cities in Umbria, famous especially for its walls that surround its historic centre.

I came to Perugia more for study reasons than anything else and I also took the opportunity to meet up with my friend whom I haven't seen for a long time, but I arrived when it was practically dark.

I was very surprised by this city because, coming from a more provincial town, I am not used to all this movement of people in the evening, there was a lot of life and I am more than happy about that.

Perugia has a beautiful Palazzo dei Priori which is home to an important museum with most of the Umbrian artwork and we hope to have time to visit these masterpieces.

Of course, there were still a few shops open and I took the opportunity to buy some delicious chocolate because you should know that Perugia is the thirst of an important confectionery company that makes the famous Baci Perugina.

While I was waiting for my friend to arrive at her appointment, I contemplated the view for a while in this beautiful blue light.

The evening ended with a tasting of typical local cured meats and a delicious first course with wild boar. I was so hungry I couldn't resist all these local delicacies.

I hope you enjoyed this post more than the previous ones, I tried a little bit to tell you about my travel experience in a lighter version so that you can also see what I do besides seeing monuments and museums.
