Hello everyone, today I would like to tell you about a village I visited several months ago in the province of Terni in the region of Umbria.

Many people like you will probably not know it, but from my point of view it is definitely worth a visit, because it is a fascinating centre of art and history with great natural beauty and very hidden landscapes.

To reach it by car, take the Fabro exit from the motorway and drive about 30 km.

Of course, being in the heart of Etruria, its history and buildings are influenced by the Etruscan and Roman presence, and the village started out as a simple castle, but it was around this that the town of Monteleone began to develop.

What I like about these villages is that they are easy to get around on foot, and I recommend leaving your car parked in the convenient car park between Via Pertini and Via Roma.

This tower on the main square of the village is truly charming and well maintained.

The only thing that disturbed my photo a bit were the numerous cars parked in front of it unfortunately Italians are obsessed with cars.

I found this inscription in memory of this poet but I tried to do a search and honestly I did not find any news about this artist.

At the end of my tour I also had a close encounter with a local shepherd because part of the local economy is still based on sheep farming and it was a good experience because I also bought some cheese made by the shepherd himself.

This is an enormous wealth to be preserved because it is only in this way that quality products can be obtained.

I hope you enjoyed these photos and the story of this village, see you next time.
