2018 Summer of Tokyo: Fireworks Hanabi Festival
After complete the Obon prayer at home, we headed to the nearby famous "Mother Farm" of the Chiba city. Tonight there was a big Fireworks which Japanese called Hanabi.
We reached Mother Farm after 15 minutes, it is near, the house just right at the hillside. The weather here is breeze and the scenery is beautiful! Due to the fireworks tonight, it is very crowded! The dearie Okasan volunteered to queue at the Genghis Khan BBQ restaurant for the table seats while we sightseeing around the farm.
Since the Pigs farm is nearest and there was a Piggy Race which is going to start soon, thus, we rush the kids to queue for drawing number to win the entry to participate the race.
Too bad! All of our kids not manage to get a chance to participate. It is alright, just sit aside to view the cutest Piggy Race. Hahahaha! It is enjoyable!
After the piggy race, we got back to the restaurant and the BBQ dishes were served in plates and then we got to stir fry the mutton and vegetables at the grill pan ourselves. It is delicious! We eat it with some add on like sausages, cheese, beer, milk and etc! We are all very Enjoyed! (Fyi, the next door is a Pet friendly restaurant, pets are allowed to have meals together. )
After the Bbq dinner, we are still early before the fireworks show, we went to rabbit farm to pet the rabbits! Look, there is a big size rabbit near the entrance! After petting we rush the kids to clean their hands, then we head to the ice-cream stall!
It is famous due to its creamery and with real fruits! I ordered the blueberries one! Yummy! I love it! I love every sweet desserts!
Finally, it is time to look for best spot to be seated and wait for the fireworks show. There were few singsong at the stage before the fireworks show. The kids are excited! The shows began punctually. Woww!! The fireworks were marvellous!!! (They said the fireworks during the obon is to welcome the souls of ancestors, it is a sign to show them the way to come back to the living world. )
The fireworks show ended after 30 minutes, the people is very quiet and discipline to leave the place. Very comfortable! The day has ended, it is a wonderful day for us! At the same time we feel sad because tomorrow we are going to leave and to visit another host family at other city.
