In our lifetime, if not daily or weekly, every 3 months is Ok for check up or review in Hospital. As our bodies continuous to works all activities, the cells become weak and begin to wear out. Aside this, there are many chemicals that the body accumulates, due to the food we eat, water we drink and so many drinks that aren't recommended by physicians. To check that the body is functioning well, one has to visit hospital frequently.
That is why today I set off my journey to check up what is going on in my system. I actually I already have a peculiar problem with pelvic/ abdominal swelling which started a few weeks a go. This swelling is like a blood that has clotted, but as time went on, it began to increase in size. I don't know what is actually happening to my system. That's why today I decided to go the Calvary Hospital for check up this problem. I set off the journey around 8:00am from my place- "Nsuta" to "Mampong" where the Hospital is Located. From Nsuta to Mampong is just in proximity, not too far. So I reached there around 8:30am
Over here in Calvary it was cool, I have already heard that they have time to attend to patients quickly. That's why I have come here. This is my first time I have being in Calvary Hospital, so I needed to creat a new folder which cost me only Ghc 10. I wasn't afraid of the cost of other side issues that may arise since I have National Health Insurance cover. I joined the queue to wait whiles the Nurse receive my Health Insurance card. There isn't much patients to attend to so within few minutes the Nurse recieved my card and asked me few questions to finish to creation of folder.
The Nurse gave me my folder to move to the waiting room for another Nurse to check my pulse and temperature. This place lasted only 5mins. I was asked to go to the consulting room for Doctor to ask me few questions about my situation in order to carry out examination. The Doctor asked me so many questions
and asked me to lie on their small bed for him to feel the place where the swell is. He used his finger to massage the place, but didn't feel any pain. He informed me to go to lab and scan that place for further actions.
I messed up, since I never knew not eat when you are to take scan. This was a great mistake I have done. The lab technician said, is either to wait for 8hours or to go home and come the next day. The choice is in my hands to decide, but I want the best result so I decided to home so that I come the next day. I collect my card and took a walk from the Hospital yard, walk through the market for taxi. I was not expecting the day to go wasted, despite the fact that I couldn't complete my target.
I was have the second purpose to attend to, that's passing to the place where I'm repairing my TV set. I sat here for more than 3hours since there was lights out, and I didn't want to go home without getting my TV set home but what could I do? When the light was on several hours have already been spent so I needed to go home.
I was even tired and hungry, while I bought *"Sobolo drink"* to continue my journey stuff.
I came to the taxi parks and bothered in a taxi to go home. It's alright for my travel today Monday. Thanks for joining me.
