There was 1991, at the beginning of the collapse of the USSR many people had no work and without money. Everyone survived as could.
I during that time was 10 years old and I remember distinctly as to my parents wages was paid out not money, but bed linen or TVs with remote control, tape recorders. Parents exchanged then all this for money in cooperative shops. There was so to speak a barter. Products in our region (and maybe not only in ours) were on sale by cards, things especially couldn't purchase them or wasn't, or is very expensive.
And here in one of days, my mother having exchanged the barter salary for money I decided to go to the Supply to the city of Odessa. Just the summer approached the end and I urgently needed to buy things for school. I as it is peculiar to small children, thrust to go with mother to this city.
I had a dream, to see the sea! Odessa, the multinational city with the water station, with sea landscapes, with the ships and boats, with beautiful architecture, I dreamed to look at all this.
Got in the evening on a Kryvyi Rih — Odessa bus and went. The bus carried only on the market and only shuttle traders for purchase, we by some miracle with mother got to it. Mother very much worried for us because I often in transport rocked to sleep, and she in the secluded place had a lot of money. So it was told by shuttle traders with whom we went: "It is necessary to hide money there, where not to approach". I won't speak where, many already guessed. And if didn't guess, here to you and an occasion to dream up. She also hided!
