This year luckily we have more free time so we enjoyed our holidays tripping around and relaxing in nice places, some days ago we want enjoy the sea, we don't live close to it so we don't see it often, we choice to go to Torre del lago, it's almost two hours far from our place but it's a lovely place, and it's quite good for the bath place prices, here in Tuscany it's hard find free beaches most of them are private and in some places the prices are really high, luckily we found a place called Andrea Doria like the the liner wrecked after a collision with the ship Stockholm in 1956.
Andrea Doria cost 28 for day for an umbrella and two deck chairs quite close to the sea even if not in the front row, a fairly standard price.
We arrived in the early morning, the weather was fine and we immediately breath the sea breeze I love it, I love the smell of the sea.
We sat under our umbrella and we finally got a relax time, I take some magazines and books and we enjoyed the sun, unfortunately we can't have a bath because the sea was unsure, too much wind so we only wet your legs and feet, the rough sea was a little scary but with the breeze it was fine, the place was very quiet with fewer people, lots of umbrellas and a restaurant bar where we took the opportunity to eat and quench our thirst, the restaurant in addition to the dishes seafood dishes such as salads, tomatoes, rice or cold pasta also offered Italianized pokes.
Both my husband and I had pokes, the place had various outdoor and indoor seats we set out, with two beers and our pokes, in mine there was rice, salmon, avocado and mayonnaise with herbs made by the owner from the restaurant, really tasty and delicious, my husband instead put chicken, onions, tomatoes and black rice in it and he too chose the mayonnaise with herbs.
The poke were really good and big, we eat a lot.
We really appreciate our sea day, it was nice and relaxing and our lunch was good too, the poke prices were standard too and we like also our peroni beers.
