Today I'm telling you about a little trip I made this weekend to the small town of Montecatini, famous for its thermal baths and its historic centre, it was once a tourist destination, today mostly the elderly go there for the spa benefits and couples have dinner in the nice restaurants in Montecatini alto, that is the old part of the city that i visited about two years ago and there is also in post here. The funicular has recently reopened in Montecatini and I, who had never deprived it, immediately took advantage of it, to the delight of my stepdaughter too. I'll tell you about our trip to Montecatini with the funicular!
No one of us was scared by the funicular it's really slow and cute, with two railways and two funiculars, Called Gigio and Gigia.
We sit in the funicular terrace so I was able to take many photos of our trip on it. My stepdaughter love to see the view from the funicular, some photos under.
When we arrived in the city we immediately like some streets because was so full of people and bars, must be a nice place for the movida than we moved to the children festival where there are some old games that children can try for free, like chess or fishing the wood piece, every game was made of wood no plastic. My stepdaughter try them all.
It was really funny for her and for us we come back home with the last funicular at night and I take some photos of the night view of Montecatini such a charming city.
