Today I wanted to take you with me to a place where I spent a lot of time, before moving I lived in Prunetta, a small town in the Pistoia mountains, near my town there is a place called "Le Piastre". This winter it hasn't snowed much and I really love snow but as I no longer live in the mountains it is difficult to find. So my husband and I, knowing that it had snowed, went to the Piastre, a place where we spent many happy or even unhappy winters because when the snowplough didn't come through we often stayed there with the car in the cold and frost. So after about half an hour of travel we arrived, albeit with a bit of difficulty due to the road, to the snowy town, a town that transforms with the snow, on normal days it is a fairly anonymous place but the snow makes it unique and special.

We initially walked through the streets of the town, small streets with many stone houses, a rustic but welcoming place, with few inhabitants in winter but many tourists in summer, also because in winter it is really cold here, it is no coincidence that there is still an old ice house, where when it's not snowing you can go for a walk. It is a small town but with a lot of green space and a few shops where you can buy food, clothes and drink a hot coffee. Walking in the snow is not easy but we had boots and were not intimidated.

The view was worth suffering the cold and damp, some trees were so full of snow that they looked like doodles from fantastic worlds, everything appears more magical with the snow, it was also nice to continue into the town and notice that even the statues and fountains They were now whitewashed, obviously the road and gardens were too. For me, snow-covered nature remains one of the most beautiful sights in the world. Then I love winter and as I have already said I really miss the snow, so for me this little walk was really beautiful, unfortunately towards the evening we had to return home because the temperatures were really low and we also risked the road freezing, but we returned happy after seeing a snowy panorama!
