As you know I love to travel and to discover new places and art, traditions and food, one of my last trip was in Lucca, where I visited the city but also the Charming Saint Michael church.

I'm always fascinated by churches, and this one it's really super cool especially the external part,si full of  inlaid arches, statues and rich in decoration, it also has a really soaring structure that refers to the heights of the spirit, it is located on a stone rise and all around surrounded by old medieval buildings, it is located in the homonymous square full of banks and small shops of souvenirs is a very touristic place.

It is located in what was the Roman forum and in ancient times was flanked by a hospital and an oratory, a very important place for the entire population. From the millennium until 1700 the church underwent numerous works both externally and internally, such as the crypts which cannot be visited today and the bell tower which can only be visited for a few days, unfortunately we were unable to see it. Bell tower much contested by the nearby and enemy Pisa for the too loud bells. In the top of the church there is a marble sculpture of the archangel Michelle against the dragon that observe all the city. In the inner part of the church there are many frescoes and sculptures and also a window with a view of the the priest rooms, so fancy !

I really like this church, the external it's amazing and many tourists as my same point of view, everyone make a lot of photos.I

It's a place you can loose to visit in Lucca and it's easy go there by feet.
