San Gimignano it's a lovely and charming city in Tuscany, it's one of the oldest medieval town in Tuscany, it's called the city of the towers because have a lot of towers, all well preserved and perfectly into the medieval architecture of the town, the San Gimignano Skyline it's famous around Italy because it's really super cool, the center of San Gimignano it's part of the UNESCO cultural heritage.
The town have a lot of places to visit unfortunately we have few hours for visiting it so we mostly see the buildings by the external part.
The first pic represents the palazzo comunale of Saint Gimignano a truly authority in town, it's situated in the main square, it was built in the 13 century, and contains many art stuff from Memmi and other artists near Siena.
The second pic it's part of the square and the third part of a street, everything look so medieval!!
The first pic under here represents a corner the collegiate of Saint Assunta, a Catholic church with some important frescoes made by Ghirlandaio, Gozzoli and Memmi. It's really full of art and a central part of the medieval life of the middle ages especially during the 13 and 12 century, the front part it's really simple and clean it was a choice because the inner part it's really rich and full( unfortunately for matter of time we didn't visit it)
After we continued our walk by entering a small cave in the town hall full of frescoes that were a little worn by time, we then decided to walk closer to the walls to enjoy the view of the typically Tuscan and green valley, a magnificent and relaxed view.
We also continued to walk around the streets of the city and look for cute corners to photograph and immortalize, this city is full of beautiful and fascinating corners and the view of the adjacent countryside is breathtaking! I recommend you visit this place if you come to Tuscany, you won't regret it!
