In January of this year, me and my girlfriend started a small road trip from our hometown Paderborn. This article is published a little late but it would be sad to not present this trip to you at all. Our firs planned destination was Dresden in East Germany. Even during wintertime this city is beautiful: Old buildings everywhere made us feel like being in Harry Potter. Sadly, the wellness area of our hotel was closed during our stay, however, this was an explanation for the cheap price we got.
Our next stop was not planned yet, however, we found a great deal for a hotel at Prague in Czech Republic. Even during the offseason, the city was crowded with tourists and I do not want to imagine how overfilled it must be during summer. It was nice that the Christmas Market was still going on in January.
The food and the beer were amazing: small prices and great value!
On our way back to Paderborn, we decided to take another route and stopped at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov. I wanted to take a shot at a poker tournament and my girlfriend could enjoy the spa. I did not manage to take any photos, however, I already posted about the Casino earlier on Steemit. The tournament was not successful this time but the entry was only 115€ anyways. We also passed the city Pilsen and stayed there for about an hour:
A road trip without much planning is definitely a great adventure. We travelled for just a few days and drove many miles, however, we had the chance to see more than just one place. I guess that we will do this again and visit some more cities soon.
