The name of the island was derived from the Bisayan word "Kauwagan" which means "Lust" since the natives of the place saw foreigners who were doing acts of lustful in nature so they called them "Kauwagan ba ana nila" since then the place is called "Caowagan" then for the purpose of highlighting its beauty not by name they called the island :Caohagan!
Caohagan island does not only offer its lustrous sandbar but also its magestic beauty! Yes, magical because of the peace loving and friendly people who lived in the island. They also offer great foods and a lot of swimming and eating!
