Part 2 of our weekend to Yamba on the NSW North Coast. This great mural on a toilet block in the middle of town gave a great overview for the whole place. It was going to be a struggle to check it all out in one weekend. There were quite a few decent hills but if you stick to the river and beaches you could avoid most of them.I thought that pretty much sums it up: Relax and unwind in Yamba time.Hickey IslandWhiting BeachCool beach with black and white sand. From the end of the break wall looking back to Turner's Beach.Turner's Beach with the one kilometre long break wall in the background.Clarence Head. The swell doesn't look that big from a distance but it was packing a punch and was quite loud as it smashed into the rocks.Every now and then water would suck out big and then crash right over the top.We walked across that rocky outcrop. It might not have been such a good idea as we didn't realise it was so chiselled out underneath. But it was a good shortcut to the lighthouse and next beach area. This seagull had a good view.Main Beach and Yamba Point.A replica of the old river lighthouse, at Pilot Hill Park.Yamba lighthouse on Pilot HillYamba has definitely got some good food options. BRGR SPOT was one of them. The gluten free Shroom of Doom on the left and BTW I'm Vegan on the right with a Rising Star game hat in the middle.Another good food option was the Drift Pizza Bar. Salty Vegan and Roasted Vegetarian were the pizza options we chose.Another big day done!
