Three and a half hours drive south of Brisbane and 7 hours north of Sydney is Yamba, situated in the Clarence Valley Northern Rivers Region of Northern New South Wales. This small sleepy fishing town spot has been high on my must visit one day places for a long time.

One of the many reasons we picked this well know area was it would be my 99th different parkrun location and Caroline’s 125th different one.

It was just motel unit block but they had done really well doing it up so it had a resort feeling

As the weather has been a bit unpredictable recently we decided on some mid rang accommodation with some extra space and a nice court yard.

Basic enough one bedroom, a lounge/kitchenette but very functional and enough space to spread our stuff out.
