Twenty three kilometres north of Queensland's Capital city Brisbane is Warner Lakes. The area is mainly urban with a popular housing estate surrounding this well developed public lake and park lands. The water does not look the best for swimming but the birds don't seem to mind it.We were visiting for a parkrun event, a free timed community five kilometre walk or run. Today I was going to walk as I strained my ankle last week and I need to give it a rest. This week was there three hundred and thirty third event 333. There are all sorts of apps and challenges to do around parkrun. Currently I have completed 364 parkruns at 101 different locations and volunteered 25 times to help run events. Completing Warner lakes 333 event would go towards a Nelson Challenge, That is running or walking at an event numbered 111, 222, 333 and so on. I have a 111 but still have to find a 222.I usually like to run as fast as I can but today I started right at the back and walked.Friendly parkrun Volunteers are on hand to show you the way so you can't get lost. This parkrun has some great course markers. There are now 452 different parkrun events in Australia. I still have a lot more to visit. The course screen shot credit to stravaAll done, my finish time, my registration band and my finish token, position 237th today. The 237 token had to be returned for use next week.Refuelling at a local café
